Stories of Record is run by Saadat Rafiq and team. We keep one page for each important story and update that page as the story develops, instead of publishing a new article every time something changes.

• What changed in the latest update.
• A dated timeline of the main developments.
• What is confirmed, kept separate from what is reported but not confirmed.
• The sources behind each fact, with links.
• What is expected to happen next.
• Every earlier version of the page, so you can see what it said before and what changed.

Who runs it

Every story is checked against the sources it cites, and the team uses AI-assisted research and writing tools. How we publish explains the checks.

How we are funded

Stories of Record is free to read. We plan to support it with advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we cover or how we cover it, and advertising is never mixed into story text.
